In December 2015, Colleen and I purchased a Silverton 410 Sport Bridge.  We're the 4th owner of this euro-styled walk up sport bridge.  Although new to us, she has had her history and changes.  But, now she's our home, our pride and often, our pain in the ass.  Her name is Coraline.

Things changed in our lives and we decided to live aboard as a unconventional way to save money while literally living on the water. I'm sure Colleen would agree that it was the most asinine best decision we've ever made.  I began to research all I could, plan and plan again, budget and scrap my plan and start over.  We read books, blogs, forums, and reviews to infinitum.  There where so many unknowns.  Fear and optimism circled us like a West Side Story knife fight.  But, we jumped...

Which brings me to you.  You might be feeling the call and are out searching.  That's what this site is about.  In it, Colleen, myself and some friends are going to attempt to shed light on some of the unknowns of life aboard.  How to get here, where to go when you do, and what to expect.  It won't be everything you need to know but we'll do our best to deconstruct questions that only experience can answer.   A vain attempt for us to council our younger selves.  Hypocrisy, here we go!

Life's a port.
