Boat Name Addendum 9-19

A while back I did an article about naming your boat. The idea was to help those that were stuck on naming or in commissioning paper panic not to seek refuge in some goofy boating pun name. I laid out some general guidelines for coming up with names that aren’t lame. Since the article came out, with my own words of advice rattling around in my mind. I started getting some pretty good names out of the ether. Honestly, I’ve forgotten a good portion of them. So, in honor of my muse, I’m going to list what I remember for public consumption. If you don’t find one you like, hopefully, they’ll get your creativity flowing. If you really like one feel free to use it. Contact me, and I’ll remove it. Maybe that could keep some originality to it. Making it yours. Which is what’s really important.

The first version of this list was accidentally erased by a damn timeout. I lost close to 200 names. Because of this, I don’t think this list will ever feel complete to me and feels a bit lacking. So, stay tuned for updates as they come back to me. One or two or a lot of the names do certainly run contrary to my article regarding naming your boat. Enjoy, keeping in mind that this list is a bit of a self-indulgent mind dump. Oh, and the picture, you ask?
