Replaced the factory installed incandescent transom light on my boat. Pretty much a direct swap out for the old Attwood light that had yellowed and start to corrode. Some have complained about not receiving screws but most marine stuff doesn't come with screws and if it does I wouldn't trust them to be quality. Unless they're marked how can you tell if you've got good stainless screws or junk? Not making assumptions in this department can save you and your gelcoat from the rust monster.
The listing says this is 3nm visible light. Given the arc flash damage to my eyes from looking at it, I'd agree.
Waterproofing looks decent, sealed plastic inner housing with tinned copper wiring. Only one issue to scratch a star; the stainless steel bezel clips into place with a permanence. The clips are very hard to release even with the light not mounted. If I have to remove the bezel later down the road, I'm thinking the bezel is going to bend, I'll scratch my gel coat, or the light's plastic housing will crack. Just make sure your wiring is good and mounting is firm before snapping the bezel in place. Mike from the Lifesaport live-aboard blog
